Of course Super Stardust was better - 256 colours, 020 processor and 2Mb of memory to play with. Compared ot the Amiga version this is perfect, and it's an awesome action-packed shooter in its own right. Great power-ups, imaginitive enemies, fast paced gameplay and stunning graphics/music. If anything 94% is under-rating it.

I got this for my STe back in 1995 right when it came out and loved it. The gameplay pulls you in and addicts you from the start. One of the highest rated games of all time in ST Format too! I love the shrapnel exploding power up thingy that shoots lots of rocks for you in one whoosh! The boss enemies, while really cool looking, detract from the gameplay in my opinion. The tunnel sequences make me want to cry they are so smoothly executed. In *real* 3D! (not simulated on an STe computer but *real*!)

Conversion to Atari STe of a game released on Amiga 500, the adaptation has been made by the demomakers-crew Aggression (who also made Utopos, another STe only shooter game). - This is the best Asteroids-like on ST(e) (it's not only tunnels, the screenshots here aren't showing the whole game ;). Also the tunnel sequences are really stunning (looked great years before Iridion 3D on GBA ;). - The hardcore/techno music fits wonderfully to the game and gives it a great industrial mood (there's been a marvelous job done on those tunes btw, the levels tunes are only using 3 channels as there's one for the sound effects only and the boss levels tunes only uses 2 channels (!) as there are 2 channels reserved for the sound effects in those parts). - Another MUST play game and another STe specific game.

I got it and I've played it.. utterly stunning. (after sometime) I played the tunnel sequence. bloody hell... Why wasn't this game converted when we all played on our ST's.. it would've been a nice: 'Hah! mine can do it too!' to the amiga peeps... righto. I'm off to play it again :-)

Very good game with good music and excellent graphics. Not as good as Super Stardust on the Amiga, but still very playable. Can be quite hard to a beginner, but once you've played it a lot, it becomes more playable than annoying! If only it was hard disk installable, then I'd play it all the time. As it is, having to swap between 3 disks distracts from the game.
