I think they copied this from the original Castle Wolfenstein on the 800 xl, so it ain't too original, but the gameplay is more action like gauntlet which is nice. I like the 800 xl version of Eagles Nest a little better for some reason, better control, and also because on that machine it is more impressive where as on an ST you would expect a tad more from the graphics. Still kicks enough butt though on any platform. Excellent strategy elements, yes quite like Wolfenstein 3D or Doom minus the 3D.
great speccy conversion that was (as far as I can see) a prequal to wolfenstein.. only it wasn't in 3D... but it involved shooting nazis.. which is pretty similar in my book (a book that is pop-up, I'll admit).. well, I had fun playing this game
