I dont think theres ever been a bad conversion of this game on any format, the speccy version was cool, nice colors everything was well defined, yep a good multiplayer game, a bit shoddy on ur own though.

I bought this game when I bought my frist Atari ST, got home played it and thought, WOW, this is exactly like the arcade, complete with amazing colour (I was use to a Spectrum 128) and digitised sound, amazing game!

I always forget that this was actually very close to arcade perfect just like the sequel. They polished up the second one a tad bit more nicely, but the first was a mind blower when it came out, and is underated. I am proud to own both of the boxed originals for the ST and will have them until I die.

Muchos Fun was had with the arcade machine and then even more with the ST version, falls apart abit when you get over level 128 (Co-operative Gameplay is just so good)

Yeah i like this a lot , me and my uncle would play for hours, getting lost in the many , many dungeons, trying to avoid the purple witch, other wise known as death.

Great game. Great graphics. The best translation of any arcade game to the ST. This game is great fun and is the reason for Warcraft III. We owe a lot to Atari.
