One of the best real time wargames/strategy games of the time! There are plenty of scenarios (all around actual or imaginery conflicts) in the middle east. You choose your side and fight it out. However you only have control over the airforce of each country and not the land forces, which seem to play no role whatsoever. You try to destroy the other country's (or countries since there can be alliances) infrastructure or/and military capabilities. You have a large amount of aircraft, most suited better for one role, but with exceptions of course. You can also send helicopters in attack runs (if you have them) but their range is short and if the opponent sent jets to intercept it....Also you can deploy (if you have them) remote (by helicopter carrying them) sam sites or radar site. At the same time you have to be careful of your assets, including your water supplies (if the enemy bombards them) and so on. An excellent game! Be warned that it might take you a few minutes to understand the controls. One tip though, the coloured tabs on top are there for a reason.
