ooooh classsssss!!! the first time i played this was in the arcade with my bro in law and it was yet another of those games that made me howl with laughter so hard, that i forgot to play the game lol.....my bro and myself are veterans of football games, especially 2 player games, and this was the first one where you could openly foul your opponent (you could knock a player out with a punch, or deliver a ruthless flying knee to his jaw), you could even knock the fat referee out for a while and then it would be mayhem as no-one could get booked......it was devishly hard to score tho and some teams were IMPOSSIBLE to get the ball off, every time you tackled they would magically jump with the ball still on their feet and you couldnt get within a yard of them.....a great laff tho, even if its just for the fact you can knock each other out.....graphics were sweet as a nut too with great sound. that was the arcade version though i have yet to play the ST version but i have it now so i will report back when i've played it.
