I have to admit I quite like this game even though it's quite a difficult game because of the monsters trying to kill you. It's got the same idea as Blood money and Enchanted land where you can buy things from the shops. To buy a life you really need a lot of money that you will probably be killed before you get a life.

Actually it is just called Erik. I think the pre release version that the magazines reviewed might have been called Erik the Viking but they changed it before they released it. This game is SO not a 35% rating game! I have played a hell of a lot of platform games on the ST and this is one of the best. Trust me. I know a sucky game when I play one, too. (Liberator anyone?) Just get to world 1-7 before you pass judgement on it. There are so many little details and clever surprises tucked into this game it is pathetic. And there are shops on every level with cool items to power up with. The graphics are good, sound effects are good, variety of objects and secret bonuses is astounding, and the gameplay balance is perfect. Play it, now.
