The drones are supposed to be larger than the DFCC, Tortiss. If the game crashes when the Meths declare war, keep trying different disk 2s until one works. A PC version of Deutros being written here: http://deuterosx.org/

Hi. I try to play with http://www.geocities.com/simmjimm/Deuteros.zip and also with http://emulatari.free.fr/. However both version fail to save games to disk. So I try to save memory snatshots with Steem. Anyway when methanoids declare the war, the game halt the emulator. Could anyone recommend a working version and emulator? Thanks.

Download the pompey pirates version of the game from http://www.geocities.com/simmjimm/Deuteros.zip with trainer. Visit my page http://www.geocities.com/yotisrx7/Deuteros.html I have a link with some tips on how to capture Methanoids' colonies!

This cant be happening! Ive downloaded the debug and the pompey pirates versions, and in both, the required materials for the drones and dfcc have been swapped! Its unplayable, if you want it, dont get these copies.
Igor Basic wrote ...2003-05-05 22:24:07
Ah, first time I played, I made all the six? stations before tanking up on the materials needed for making the drones :))))) Few more times and then I remember the final alien attack and the ultimate triumph of the human race. I was so happy :)))))) Excellent game. One of the best I have ever played

My all time fave ST game, just slightly better than Millennium 2.2. With improved graphics, could pass off as a new game

Fantastic game. I still fire it up occasionally (when I have my nostalgia hat on!).

One of the best strategy games ever. I still remember playing it for the first time, it just kept getting better when I least expected, I was sorry it ended :)

I love this game :) Ive only ever managed to finish it twice because it takes so long but its definetly one of my all time favourites.

I'm thick. But I never knew what was going on with this game (serves me right for getting it hacked, I suppose). Hadn't been that confused since I tried to play a japanese rpg on the snes.

This was one of the best games i have played on any format. It was so good that i went 2 days without sleep trying to win this game and i did but with great difficulty (building 6 stations without tradung to get the upgrade for my drones what was I thinking) well the only thing i thought was bad about this was the ending i won't say why just because of people who have not yet completed it

Brilliant, resource management game, many hours of play were spent on this game - and still I didn't defeat the aliens!!!!!!
Florian wrote ...2001-11-21 05:14:58
A game my brother and I played relentlessly for hours, hours and hours. We never found a way to beat up the aliens, though. So if anyone can help us, we shall be veyr thankful! The gestion is excellent, plus the fact that you can launch automated sequences on your factory -order, quantity...- and the more profit you make, the unhappier you get... because you always want more, more and more! I would give this game an A.
