Not as good as many other scrollers but good gameplay anyway. Try Ikari Warriors or Dogs of War for better. I think this was based on a Schwarzenegger film?

Good old Commando, i have a soft spot tfor this game, running up the screen shooting and lobbing grenades was cool.I also played the C64 version, and thought it was pretty good too.I now have the original on my capcom genrations cd for Playstation,a very good game, and may it play in our memories forever.

Commando can be found on Pompey Pirates compact disk 19, Zuul compact disk 39 and Automation compact disk 181.

I was playing this game on Arcade Machines, ZX Spectrum (Timex), Amiga and Atari ST. And I must say, that ST impementation is very, very good one! It is very similar to the arcade version...

The graphics are much better than on the C64 but the game play is as good as. If you played the C64 version than this one is even better.
