Excellent game - decent arcade conversion.

this game reminds me of atom ant for the c64, strange but true

I quite liked this game. Simple but addictive puzzle action. I haven't played it in years though.

Overated early 80s nostalgia crap. Believe me when i say i'm all things retro, but come on. enoughs enough.

A classic! Simple & addictive couldn't get much further than about level 12 or 13 though. Run for the pause disc!

Nice single screen platform action, the musics terrible as expected. But very close to the arcade version.

You can download the game from Automation disk 16(ftp://ftp.cs.tu-berlin.de/pub/atari/games/Automation/A_016.ST). You can see Power Pack instructions from http://www.geocities.com/yotisrx7/PowerPack.html#BombJack.

Irritating music. Repetitive. Addictive as a badger!

I recently played a port of this game on the GameBoy Advance - it brought back so many good memories. I remember being on Holiday in Spain once and getting the hi-score on the arcade version there in our hotel as I had spent a good year of my life (8-9 years!) playing it before.

I have a few memories of this game. I used to play it a few times and did very good at it. It looks similar to a game I used to play on the Atari 800XL called "Little Devil". Except, in that game, you had to gather up all of the circles that had numbers on it. The numbers would start at "9" and if you didn't get them all before they reached "0", you would lose a life. Even if you touched one of the enemies. There's even an arcade version of this game. Bombjack can be found on Automation compact disk 16 and Lemmings compact disk 12.

My mom brought this game for me from London UK (I live in Finland!) I can't understand how she managed to buy such a great game! (..and how she even did know which computer I had? :D) I played this game for hours and hours and still it has "the something" in it..

A very simplistic platform, and that was the beauty of it

the first ST game i played and for want of a less sucky and clichéd description, 'da bomb' quite fairly describes it. 8/10
