One of the strangest games I've ever played, a bouncing green ball on another planet!? Never quite got the hang of it. I probably should give this more time one night.

I bought Wizball for the Speccy when it was new and didn't really get it so I never played it much.. (I was a bit young for it at the time).. I got it free with my STFM a couple of years later and never stopped playing the damn thing! It was on the same disk as Arkanoid II and spent a good time in my 'frequently played games' pile next to my ST.. Great fun!

My second favourite game for the Atari and the best shooter game of all time IMO. I completed it once when I was younger and never again replicating the task, always managing to somehow mess it up (like fully painting both Blue worlds before finishing the rest). Excellent variation on an R-Type type theme.

One of my all-time-favorites on the Atari ST, I played a lot when I was like 6 years old ;) And guess what? Today, I got it working properly on my newly bought Atari 1040 ST!

I never knew the game existed for the ST till last year or so. I played this game a bit on my friend's cpc 464. Good fun.

BTW, in case anyone's still wondering, to select powerups in Wizball you would wiggle your joystick quickly left-right-left-right

One of the first games I played - and really loved. My friend and I spent hours figuring out how to play it and then played it to the end in a several-day sitting. Great gameplay!

it was a special function on my joystick. I mean a switch there like permanent fire and ....
Jimbo wrote ...2003-01-15 06:24:37
This was a great game once I figured out how to choose the special functions at the top. Does anyone remember what you press to keep a function once you've highlighted it. I can't remember.

one of the 1st games i played. it was completely captivating. it was a blooming nuisance because i lost lots of sleep playing it. gameplay as it should be.

One of my first true gaming experiences on the st. Differs quite a lot from the C-64 version with different enemy attack waves and stuff like that. That doesn't change the fact that it's a really addictive game with nice graphics and a slightly bizarre story. Let's bring some colour to the world!

One of the best arcade games ever! The most playable and addictive game I can remember! Try it!
