Many many extra colours for the STE :D Pretty to watch and funny to play.

I saw the canister version in a thrift store when I had no money, and came back the next day and it was gone. ;( I was lucky enough to find the "bog standard" version on Ebay Germany...which in itself in no easy feat! Now I have Vaxine and Virus sitting together on my video game shelf...looks cool. ;) And yeah, it's a cool game, very abstract and trippy, my kind of game.

Strangely engrossing game where you play the role of a vaxine zapping germs or whatever they were. Smooth 3d graphics and sampled sound, a polished game. Wasn't this one of the first STE enhanced games to be released? Trivia: Initial copies of this game came in a limited edition canistar!!!! Unfortunately I only got hold of the bog standard cardboard box version :(

ST Action Summary: Vaxine proves to be initially confusing. The bold colours and fast animation making play a little baffling to the beginner. However, after a few test runs, players soon become adept at zapping the invading viruses. The best control method is via the mouse and exploring the play area for invading bodies is made really easy by the signals given by the computer. Vaxine's only shortfall is in its wayout wackyness. Like its predecessor, E-Motion, the game is definately different, and because of this many people will be put off of it. However, our advice is persevere, it's worth it! Rating = 78 %
