The best computer game i have ever played. No other game or series has had me as desperate to play it to find out what happens next before or since. All the sierra adventures were class, and this was the best of the lot.

My dad was a police officer when I was a kid, and he bought me this to play around with. I fell totally in love with it! I then started to buy all the Sierra games I could-but I was too young for Leisure Suit Larry (according to Mum) so I have every 3-D Animated Adventure game written for the ST except for those. Police Quest was a lot of fun, at times a bit difficult to decipher the exact phrase that you needed to type-sometimes you would know what to do but couldn't think of exactly how to say it. Overall a very solid, long playing game. More fun than the 1991 VGA remake.

This game was pure brilliance. Sierra became the biggest and best adventure game producers with the long running Police Quest, King's Quest, Space Quest and Leisure Suit Larry series'. I started out with the LSL series, but when I got my hands on this little beauty, I couldn't put it down!! By the way Matthias, I think if you walk into the rockers bikes they will all fall over. Then, the next time you visit the coffee shop, they won't be there.

Another fine Sierra adventure. Does anyone know how to get rid of the rocker's bikes in front of the coffee shop?

Absolute class. I remember getting this for christmas a long time ago, and I spent almost all of christmas day playing it. Some parts are a bit fidgety (the driving, for example), and you need to follow police routines to the letter else it's game over - but hey, it's a cop sim, and it has everything you'll find in any decent police movie!

In my humble opinion the best adventure series Sierra ever released. Ok, so the quality took a steep dive after PQ2, but what the heck. If you've watched cop movies and TV series as a kid a lot, you'll love this one. You get to drive around in your patrol car, go through the daily police routine, stop cars, investigate traffic accidents and slowly but unavoidably are drawn into the plot of some mysterious drug lord trying to seize control of the small peaceful town you live and work in. The game has a kind of 70ish atmosphere to it, which is actually a good thing. One of the cool things about this game is the amazing feel of freedom you have while playing it - though the plot is quite linear it still feels as if it's up to you what to do next. Though Sierra never ceased to claim how realistic the game is, it's of course filled with all the cliches from cop movies and series - the officer falling in love with a hooker which was his high-school sweetheart, the daughter of the fellow officer getting an OD, the merciless diabolic gangster overlord behind it all. But really, who'd want to have to sift through dozens off different forms to write a proper report? Sign up with the academy or play Police Quest IV if you're into the boring parts of the job. People who want to have fun though, download this game. :)
