This was a fairly decent flight sim, with good graphics and a nice high frame rate even on a basic ST. The flight model was a bit suspect though - the manual openly admitted that they'd souped up the performance of the planes to improve gameplay - and all enemy fighters - yes, even the Red Baron himself - could be downed with a single shot. That said, I still had plenty of fun times playing this game.

wings was good, but it fart-arsed about between 3D flight and overhead (but yes, I will get it as soon as for my GBA, but that's not the point!). knights had a certain charm about it - it was easy to get into, it had a nice feel with the missions, and as soon as a red fokker triplane appeared, you knew it was nearly time to plummet earthwards. happy days :-)

Scratch that last comment. I've just remembered 'Wings' on the Amiga. That is a legendary game.

This is still the best WWI flight sim that I've ever played. Mind you, I've only played this and Red Baron.

Very, very good...Runs at higher frame rates on accelerated machines too (my old Falcon).
