I remember playing this game so much back in 1988. I did very good on it and a few years later, I played the Atari 800XL version. We've owned an Atari 800XL computer for many years and I seemed to like the Atari ST version more. Now, our old Atari 800XL computer sits out in the garage gathering dust. Somehow, I was never able to power it on after using it a few times again. I sure miss using that computer. Luckily, with the Atari 800XL emulation out there besides Atari ST emulation, I get so many flashbacks playing games I remember. Crystal Castles can be found on Automation compact disk 1 and Zuul compact disk 45.

This game had addicted my mother, my sisters, our babysitter and me. You control the bear, and have to collect all gems. You can jump over your enemies, but most of them will attack you directly. You can quickly figure out how to use that in your advantage. It might be helpful to know that you can destroy the weird '3-balls-on-eachother' enemy by walking over them while they're eating a gem... Wonderful game, very addictive.

One of the few games which work both on RGB and monochrome monitors. In the early days of the ST this game was absolutely great and we spent hours playing it in the computer-room of our school :-)
