Core Design got the Tomb Raider licence taken from them by parent company Eidos (who then gave it to Crystal Dynamics) after the poor sales of Tomb Raider - Angel of Darkness...three of it's members then went to form their own company, Circle Studio, with a few other staff, and the rest were sold to Rebellion along with Core's assets...Eidos still hold the Core name and IPs like Tomb Raider.. All in all, a bit of a sad end for the bods who brought us little gems like Car Vup and the world's first proper game superstar!

Core Design the company behind this game which went on to do some of the Tomb Raider games but now you don't really hear of them because I think they went bust or something. Car Vup was a game I was playing for ages as a kid too. I must admit this game can get frustrating in lot's of ways like for instance too many enemies and another reason would be in some places are hard to reach.

Ace game. Possibly more addictive than Tetris. I just couldn't stop playing this as a kid.

This is one of the most original and funny games ever. You play as Arnie, a living red mini. Poor little Arnie must save all his friends from the evil Grim, who as taken prisoners and has changed or destroyed the cartoon land. In this platform game you are going to restore cartoon land to its original state. But it's not easy because there are crazy cartoons out there, but there are also crazy weapons to get rid of them. Don't waste too much time, or the invincible devil will appear and convince you to return to the workshop.
